I took an ambulance ride.
I have a confession to make: I’m superstitious when it comes to ambulances. I MUST say “Touch my hair never go there” every time I see an ambulance. My husband thinks it’s dumb and being over 21 years of age I’ve had this nagging suspicion that it may be. Somewhere along the line I’ve let the habit slip and I’m now convinced that my lack of attention is why I was subjected to an ambulance ride on Monday 9th Aug!
I must admit to thinking that the whole thing was quite an adventure and being strapped down with the full neck brace and five paramedics faffing around me was an experience I’ll never forget. I don’t want to repeat it, but now at least I can say I’ve done it, and I can go back to touching my hair every time an ambulance goes by.
A huge thank you to ER 24 they were sympathetic, professional, friendly, calming and just downright NICE!
