“OH so these are the shoes you’ve been wearing!”
They say “don’t judge a person till you’ve walked a mile in their shoes”. Well my very good friend had a deep vein thrombosis attack/scare (not sure what you call the horror) and she had to get a blood thinner injection every day.
I sympathised and said “ahhh shaaaame” like any good friend should. Obviously the sympathy police were watching and it was not heartfelt enough so my punishment was that I get to do the same for two weeks whilst my bones bleed and stand the chance of causing clots. Ah Sherrrrrryyyy, sssshhhaaaaaame I now understand what you went through. I have walked in your shoes and you can have them back.
